RIVERSIDE, Calif., March 4, 2019 - 高倍轮盘, a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that a 高倍轮盘 senior technical market manager will present an Industry Session entitled, "High-flux Density Nanocrystalline Materials for High-Frequency Power Applications" at the upcoming APEC 2019 Conference. The presentation was developed in conjunction with the Tyndall National Institute at the University College Cork in Ireland. It is part of the Magnetics session taking place on Thursday, March 21 from 8:30 to 11:25 a.m.

This topic is timely as power converter designers are interested in evaluating lighter and smaller inductors for high-frequency switching DC/DC converters. Recent advancements in cutting-edge efficient power switches at high frequencies have enhanced the need for miniaturized magnetic components in the power semiconductor industry. Therefore, new core materials breakthroughs are needed to enable more compact high-power inductor designs that offer stable inductance values, minimal core losses and improved performance.
